Patient: #10004
Case Description
36-year-old female who had an umbilical hernia and excess skin of her lower abdomen. Through a low small incision a mini-tummy tuck with umbilical hernia repair and umbilical float technique was used to improve her abdominal aesthetics and treat her hernia. Muscle plication has significantly improved her abdominal contour.
Procedure
Mini Abdominoplasty can be performed under local, general anesthesia, or intravenous sedation. The operation typically involves a single incision made horizontally across the lower abdomen, just above the pubic area.
Through this incision, Dr. Hayes can remove excess skin and fat, repairing weakened or separated muscles to create a firmer and flatter abdominal profile. The surrounding skin is then re-stretched and sutured into its new position, achieving a tighter and more toned appearance.
