Patient: #10016
Case Description
33-year-old female after multiple pregnancies presents with separation of the abdominal wall muscles. After extended abdominoplasty her contour is significantly improved. Fat within the abdomen could not be treated which accounts for the fullness in the upper abdomen.
Procedure
Mini Abdominoplasty can be performed under local, general anesthesia, or intravenous sedation. The operation typically involves a single incision made horizontally across the lower abdomen, just above the pubic area. Through this incision, Dr. Hayes can remove excess skin and fat, repairing weakened or separated muscles to create a firmer and flatter abdominal profile. The surrounding skin is then re-stretched and sutured into its new position, achieving a tighter and more toned appearance.
