Patient: #60013
Procedure
Under general anesthesia, the surgeon makes an incision in inconspicuous areas to minimize visible scarring. The breast implant is then inserted into a pocket either under the pectoral muscle (a submuscular placement) or directly behind the breast tissue, over the pectoral muscle (a submammary or subglandular placement). The incisions are then closed with layered sutures in the breast tissue and skin adhesives to minimize any visible scar.
Notes from Dr. Hayes: 45-year-old female just weeks out from surgery looking fantastic after placement of submuscular 295 cc silicone full profile implants.
